Service Technician:

K&W Equipment Company is a service provider serving the retail and commercial fuel industry across Indiana. We pride ourselves on delivering precision, reliability, and strategic partnership to our clients. We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented service technician to join our growing team, supporting field service operations and customer maintenance programs. This role ensures our clients’ systems perform safely, efficiently, effectively, and consistently.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls across assigned territories
  • Diagnose, troubleshooting, and repairing petroleum and commercial fuel equipment, including dispensers, tank monitoring systems, and associated components
  • Document service activities through timely and complete work order submissions
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Communicate clearly with clients on technical issues, service outcomes, and next steps
  • Coordinate with Service Manager for training, certifications, and technical development
  • Participate in weekly operations meetings
  • Serve as backup support to other field technicians or service managers, as needed 


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in related fields preferred
  • Prior field service experience with fuel equipment systems or similar industrial applications
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and operate in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
Construction Laborer:

The position for petroleum construction worker will require physical labor for the installation of fueling and petroleum equipment. This includes the installation of underground and above ground storage tanks, piping, pumps, etc. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work alongside a crew under the supervision of the foreman
  • Assist heavy machinery operators by spotting and directing
  • Create and maintain a safe working site by ensuring all necessary signs and barricades are put in place, as well as wearing proper safety equipment when needed
  • Cut and thread piping and assist others with the fitting and installation of the pipes on underground and above ground storage tanks
  • Maintain an organized job site by ensuring all tools are properly placed on either the truck or trailer and by cleaning up the job site per directions
  • Ability to operate small machinery such as a skid steer or backhoe is preferred 


Requirements:


  • Have a current driver's license and are able operate a truck while towing a trailer
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
  • Must pass Motor Vehicle Records check if driving for the company
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of a construction position, including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds
